George was first licensed in February 1969 as a Novice with the call WN3LVR. Soon after being licensed, he became part of the “Friday Nighters” group run by his Elmer, Harry W3FDY. George is retired from the RV industry after being involved with his family’s campground and owning his own RV dealership for over 40 years. Today he keeps busy with his small lawn cutting business and is very involved with his Church. His favorite operating mode is CW and his favorite activity is Summer Field Day with the 985 group.
